Terms of Service
These Terms govern your purchase of Vidima and your use of the related services we operate. Plain language, short clauses, no boilerplate that doesn't apply to a desktop invoicing app sold one-time by a small Swiss studio.
By purchasing a Vidima license or by using vidima.ch or verify.vidima.ch, you (the "Customer", "you") agree to these Terms with Helvecraft (the "Company", "we", "us").

- Address: Ticino, Switzerland
- Contact: info@helvecraft.com
2. What your purchase includes
- A perpetual license to install Vidima on one device for one user (see the EULA for the licensing terms)
- All updates within the v1.x major version line, included at no extra cost
- Access to the public services

- Helvecraft issues a Swiss invoice for your payment; VAT is applied where required by Swiss law and AFC status
4. License activation and delivery
- After successful payment, we email you a license key
- You activate Vidima by entering the key in the app; activation happens over TLS to our license activation service
- Once activated, Vidima works fully offline with a 30-day grace period if the activation server is unreachable
- For details on what data is exchanged, see our Privacy Notice
5. Refunds
We do not offer a fixed refund window. If you believe a refund is warranted — for example a blocking defect, a duplicate purchase, or an unauthorized transaction — please write to info@helvecraft.com describing the situation. We evaluate each request individually and in good faith. This does not limit any statutory consumer right that applies in your jurisdiction.
6. Trial
- Vidima is free to download and free to use for 14 days, with full functionality and no credit card required
- After the trial it becomes read-only (you can still open and print everything you already created) until you activate a license
7. Liability
Vidima is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Helvecraft does NOT accept liability for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special — arising from the use of or inability to use Vidima, except where caused by Helvecraft's intentional misconduct or gross negligence. In any case, Helvecraft's total cumulative liability toward a single Customer shall not exceed the amount actually paid by that Customer for the license.
This clause does not limit or exclude any liability that Swiss mandatory law forbids us to limit (for example, liability for personal injury or fraud).
8. Customer responsibilities
- You provide accurate information when purchasing
- You will not use Vidima to issue invoices that are fraudulent, illegal, or misleading
- You are responsible for backing up the data you create with Vidima — Helvecraft does not store your invoices, customers, or any document content (see our Privacy Notice)

10. Suspension and termination
- Helvecraft may suspend or revoke a license in case of clearly demonstrated abuse — for example license-key sharing across multiple devices despite the single-device limit, fraudulent chargebacks, or use of the service to commit illegal acts
- Where reasonably possible we will notify you in writing before suspension
- A revoked license entitles you to no refund, except where the revocation was unjustified
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Helvecraft and Vidima evolve. For material changes we update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
